Does anyone know if Pluto is visible through binos?

From my garden I can see Jupiter by 12.30am to 1am, so may be able to try to find Pluto, but don't know what i'm looking for exactly. The bright nights don't helpof course.

Does it look any particular colour or show its phase, etc?

The best way to see Pluto IMO, is to find out where it is. Take a pic one day and then the same FOV to next and compare the two. The "Star" that has moved is Pluto.

At Mag14 there are a lot of stars when you get that faint.

It's barely visible through an 8" scope from a really dark site under Arizona skies. At least 10"-12" needed under less than ideal conditions, (which seem to be the case for most of UK.) The photographic method may work well, but you still won't see it. :)
