Has Anyone used a mirror lens for observation work or AP?

Ive just picked up a cheap Samyang 800mm f8 mirror lens, as a sort of toy lens really.

It attaches to my camera using a T-thread so this got me wondering, would be any good for say observing the moon and would it be any good to have a play around with attached to my camera and on my mount?

I know probably wont get anything serious out of it, but as a play thing I wondered what peoples thought are?
