how many of you are sat on the pc waiting for the scopes to cool down ,and killing time on sgl ?

Me,the dobs outside cooling and the missis is getting ready for work..... Peace at last.

Never switched it off from last night. Shut the mount down and left the scope with the fans on to keep it cool all day and not let the primary mist up.

Imaging again now on M33, M78 and Bodes to follow later tonight

My telescope is sat in the conservatory right now. All being well I'll put it out to cool about 22:00 or so then look to start observing sometime later, maybe around midnight, just to give the neighbours time to turn off the lights and go to bed

Solid cloud almost all day Watching Race to Mars on discovery science & waiting for the Mrs to get back so I can go out for a takeaway.

But I've been out twice this week - nice, despite the high cloud

Wll it's clear now but after an hour and a half of trying to get EQmod going and getting "runtime error 62" I'm now hunting the house looking for the syntrek controller....

I've done that many times but had to give up on waiting last night. The temperature kept on becoming colder and colder,.. When it reached -39, I gave up!

Drastic problems require drastic solutions. I'm not good enought to fix what was wrong. After trying re-installations I ended up doing a system restore to last thursday and it's all fine.

I'm still out!
