BBC North Stargazing Live - Tonight (10th Jan)

Just on the off chance that there's any more BBC'ers lurking around here, just a reminder that there is a Stargazing Live event in Bridge House (Digi Den), MCUK, Salford tonight, 5pm to 7pm. I only just found out about it myself, so thought a heads-up might be good!

A special event to celebrate the return of BBC Learning’s Stargazing LIVE. Come along and enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows, peer through a telescope and find out more about the stars. Hosted by Salford Astronomical Society.

Despite the blanket cloud and rain quite a few people turned up and there seemed quite a bit of interest. Thanks to everyone from the Salford Astronomical Society, especially Phil for the best view of the evening - a distant fire escape sign!
