Stargazing Live - Gibside, Gateshead

Just got my e-tickets for the Stargazing Live event at Gibside, near Rowlands Gill in Gateshead. Should be a good event. I thing some members from Sunderland Astronimical Society will be there with thier telescopes. Hope the skys are clear. Might inspire me to move up from my 10x50 bins. My 9 year old daughter is really looking forward to it too.

Just got home from Gibside. Wow what a night! 700 to 1000 people there to take advantage of the clear skies. The place was buzzing! Well done BBC for organising this it was a pleasure to take part.

What a fantastic night graham,seen your tv interview nice one,spoke to hannah by email and she said more footage to be shown tomorrow worth looking out for. I too got home and said WOW!!! Bring it on.. many more:hello2:
