Really bad luck last night....

Would you believe it, last night the tracking packed up on my CG5 so I got my EQ6 out and set that up only to find that the RA gear was jammed with some crud and needed stripping down!!!

I ended up setting up twice and getting a couple of looks at the Moon and Mars!!

The EQ6 is sorted now (God knows what it was in there, but a bit of fiddling has removed it!!) so the "big gun" is coming out tonight!!

God dont you just hate nights like that eh what an Bottom!.. Any luck with the Cg5 drives? maybe they need a bit of tinkering too Gaz..

Hi James,

The CG5 drives were working great at slewing at x2, x4 etc just not x1 (the important one!!) I think the problem is mine rather than the drives, gonna have a fiddle today, hopefully it'll be something simple I've overlooked.

Oh, and my last fuse 'went' in my powerstation!
