The weekend after the original suggested weekend, the 17th/18th/19th will have longer darkness and the moon shouldn't be a problem based on Daz's table @ Steve's calendar.

Edit: Although we will miss the peak of the Perseids...

That weekend, the moon is set early afternoon. Excellent.

I can do this weekend, and have booked it on the social calendar (he says, hoping its ok for everyone else!)

Ok looks like the 17th is best for the perseids!

If everyone is agreed i'd like names added to mine below!

I would really like a yes or a no, as i have to book in advance, so only add your name if its a yes!

They only allow approximately 20 Pitches max, inc caravans at a time, as they are old and any more would most probably see them off to the next life! :police:

So i shall start the ball rolling

17th may be best for Perseids as they peak around 15th.

Since when? I'll have to double check...

But I've always been under the impression that they peak on the night of 11th/12th!

Hmmmm.... maybe that why I never see that many :police:
