How's everybody doing for Geminids?

Hi

My astronomy club organised a Geminids night for yesterday / tonight.

Yesterday was a non starter, but tonight we met up and saw quite a few.

The cloud was frustrating us but on the whole a great evening.

Shame I'm up early for work tomorrow.

Now I can say I am officially chuffed.

I've seen seven Meteors in half hour, thats broke my record.

Its a shame I have to put my head down, I have to be on the road at 6am.

Ok, I just read up on the cause of the Geminids. A little bit wiser now.

Saw 7 tonight in Rutland, the best one travelling north made me call out "wow!"

And several more yesterday evening before total cloud cover spoiled the fun, bring on the Ursids
