Clear Night, So Just Been Out...

I'm finding some intermittent cloud - and occasional rain

But the thermals are on, so I'm going to use them.

I foolishly set up top try and catch the Europa transit of Jupiter - scope was bouncing all over the place in the wind so also retreated to the warm and will save the political capital that is usually required for a long night's observing.

Just been out for about 15 minutes (freezing cold and windy!) and have seen 5 Geminids, of which 3 were really bright. In for a warm up now!
