Forgotten Rosette

This was filling in a bit of time whilst I was waiting for the Leo triplet to cross the meridian on 7th April. Pointed my ED80 at the Rosette for a trial run of a closer up image of the neb next winter. Just a dozen 1 min unguided subs with the SXV H9 binned 2x2 using Ha filter. Rediscovered whilst tidying up my hard drive. A bit noisy owing to very short exposure time and not very well framed but looks worth pursuing.

Can't decide whether I prefer Ha red or mono!!

Thanks guys. definitely think it will be worth pursuing this next winter. A 3 channel narrow band with lots of exposure time, mustn't wish summer away though, would like to do a similar thing with M16.
