1.25" or 2" BARLOW?

Hi, I am getting a used Nexstar 8SE and I have a 2" Revelation dielectric diagonal to use with it. At the moment I have a Baader zoom eyepiece and a meade 2" 32mm wide angle eyepiece.

My question is, is it worth getting a 2" barlow to keep everything 2"? or will it make little difference mixing the 1.25" and 2" bits up?

Thanks in advance, Martin

I doubt you will need a barlow as the 8mm setting on the zoom will be giving 250x. Thats probably the max that's practical most of the time.

If you really feel the need for a barlow the Antares 2" 1.6x is excellent if you can get hold of one. Don't know about Baader barlows I'm afraid.

If my experience is anything to go by, make sure that your scope/diagonal can cope with the length of a 2" barlow.
