strange line in moon crater

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Found this strange line in a crater on the moon positioned somewhere near the middle, seeing as there's not atmospheric conditions up there, i was wondering what could have caused it

Don't remember seeing it before, any ideas, conspiracy theories welcome!

Don't worry - I thought it weird when I first saw it. You simply don't expect such weirdness to appear for just one or two days each month...

Yes, here's a close-up of Rupes Recta, the Straight Wall, apparently it's actually a gentle slope nine hundred feet high with a 40° gradient.

It's one of the highlights on the Moon for me. And it looks rather fine tonight as it happens :)
