Ju_Cooper Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 This whole Moon shot was captured last night. 11 DSLR (Canon EOS 450D) shots 1/100s ISO100 prime focus Sky-Watcher 150 Explorer Newtonian registered and integrated in PixInsight. Wavelet sharpening in Registax 6. Final processing in Photoshop with colour blend layer from one of the original raw files with increased saturation. The Straight Wall is visible near the terminator.Also did some stacked afocal video of the Straight Wall:Mosaic of 4 stacked images from afocal video on Canon Digital Ixus 800IS. Next best bet is near last quarter when the "cliff-face" is brightly illuminated by the sun as in the left image on this page. Good luck with it!
