Having finally managed to pick myself up a copy of Astronomy Now, I've been reading through it at a leisurely pace and came across an advert for David Hinds Ltd (www.celestron.uk.com) on page 18.

rus recommended I keep an eye out for Ultima eyepieces are they are rather good. Does anyone have any more info on these?

The Ultima have gone now, just secondhand. Celestron are getting ready to launch the Ultima LX. But it's worth seeking out the old Ultima's. They are an eyepiece classic, every bit as good (and depending on the review...better) as the TeleVue Plossl.

Remember the Orion USA Ultrascopic and Parks Gold are identical to the Ultima. They all come up for great prices.

Off the top of my head that adverts been running for a good few months now, so I wouldn't expect these new EP's any time soon.
