Hello from South Yorkshire

Been reading these impressive forums for a while now. A great source of helpful and substative information. Finally got round to registering.

Been interested in astronomy since I was a nipper.

Nowadays I have a second degree from the OU in Physics & Astronomy (first degree in Civil & Structural Engineering). In the past have spent a lot of time studying theoretical material (mainly cosmology and exoplanetary research).

Now looking to have more "fun" and return to my astro roots (e.g. the business end of a telescope;)).
