Attaching a ST80 onto the main scope

Hi All,

What would be the best method of attaching a ST80 onto a Tal200K / Tal 2 mount combo.

All recomendations welcome

Does the tal have rings which you could attach another dovtail to?

It is a later version, without tube rings.

It has no rings? How does it attach? Clamshell maybe? Baader do a gadget which clamps a Vixen/Synta rail. I attach these gadgets to whatever I can and the guidescopes, on Vixen rails, go in there. They are the top pic on this page;

Sorry but the only pic I have of this system attached to a clamshell is this one on the cover of AN! You should just about be able to see how it works, I hope.

Failing this you will need a side by side plate.
