robindurant
Can anyone recommend a good Moon Map or Book of maps as a reference for viewing. I can find some on the net but would like one that I can take to the Scope when viewing.
Akyra
Google do a moon skin for their popular google Maps / Earth. Some star atlas books have moon maps in them, maybe you could print out a map off t'internet.
GazOC
I got a cracking set off Ebay on CD for a fiver that I've printed and laminated. I'll try and find a link tomorrow.

dogfish
I got one of ebay. 16 pages of drawings, all laminated. It's a reflector view though, so upside down and not back to front, so not easy to use with the SCT I use. However, next time I view I'm going to take the diagonal out and that should fix it. They're cheap (fiver plus £2 postage). Here's one. Ebay.co.uk Item number: 260113917699Cheers, Martin

GazOC
The ones I bought were from the same guy as Martinhttp://stores.ebay.co.uk/Moon-Maps-and-MemorabiliaThe A3 laminated ones for £30 have caught my eye. But even the CD-ROMs for 2 (that I have) are great value.
Peter
I use a book called The Hatfield Photographic Lunar Atlas. I've had it a few years and I'm not sure if its still in print.I think I only paid around a fiver for it but one of the best fiver's I've spent on a Moon Atlas. I suppose you could try Amazon. proflight2000
yes peter at moon and memerobilia is a very respected lunar professional, I recently bought a set of 16 USNavy high quality prints of the moon from him. He has written many books on the subject and I think I am right in saying he is the moon man for the BAS.I also have the cd's and they are excellent. Albireo380
Robin, Try "The Hatfield SCT Lunar Atlas" (Jeremy Cook) Springer is the publisher. It has line drawings and lunar images orientated the way you see things through yopur SCT (hence its name). I use it every time I look at the Moon through my LX90.Tom
