vegaandarctures
Hi all, I have a vixen 3'' Refractor and just above the focuser there are 3 screws. One of these screws is loose. Its not really effecting the scopes performance but I though I may as well ask just to be on the safe side.Cheers, Tom
LukeSkywatcher
Do you mean the screws that hold the focuser into the scope tube itself? if so tighten it up a bit.
Bizibilder
Do you have a picture of exactly which screw this is? It could be holding the focusser onto the tube or could be part of the focusser adjustment mechanism. If we know for sure we can help you.
vegaandarctures
Im not sure what they do but its one of the 3 small screws next to the finder scope screws.
spaceboy
These are tension screws. Is the focuser draw tube sloppy ??

Bizibilder
The silver screws at "A" should be tight - they hold the focusser to the tube. The screws at "B" are part of the focusser adjustment. (I stole your image Luke - I hope you don't mind!)
LukeSkywatcher
That screw holds the actual focuser mechanism into the tube. Just tweak it with a screw driver. Not too much though, just enough. No worries Biz, i stole "borrowed" the image from online.
