Was looking at Jupiter.... with a fairly weak scope... 70 Mil.... X40 in a barlow making it X90 (I get better detail that way than with my actual X90 Eyepiece) And I thought I saw a star dash behind jupiter..... well I though just something my eyes saw I looked over at the other side of it out of curiosity and sure enough it dashed out from behind it exactly allined with where it went in.... Was this a meteor?

Well, my tip is that whatever it was, it probably went in front of Jupiter's disc, rather than behind it, drowning in i's luminosity so it may have created an illusion of passing behind it. It is much like when a Gallilean moon passes in front of Jupiter - it gets barely noticable. If the object in question was moving at a constant rate, I would say it was most likely a satellite, making the transit visible just from your location.
