Hello to all

I'm 64 and started stargazing at age 10. All my observing is visual with a 10" newt and binos (10x70 & 10x50). I first got hooked on astronomy at age 10 when I saw the Russian satellite Sputnick pass across the night sky.

I'm looking forward to sharing my many decades of observing experience with members of the forum as well as learning from them. ;)

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Since I'm one of 2 members at age 64, now I'm curious about what the oldest and youngest members' ages are.

Here in the U.S., I belong to a few astronomy forums and from what I've seen so far, SGL appears to be of the same high quality and I'm sure I'll be enjoying participating in it.

Thanks again to all for the warm welcome - Mr Q

And a continued thanks to all the latest welcomes:D

The more I get involved in the SGL, the more impressed with it I am. Thanks again from across the big pond for all the warm welcomes:) Mr Q
