Jupiter, Europa and Io 13.11.11

Fairly pleased with this with my afocal video setup that I've been trying out. Sky-Watcher 150 Explorer + 10mm eyepiece; Canon Digital Ixus 800IS mounted afocal. 2x 60s videos stacked in AviStack 2 (preprocessed in Registax 6 to limit to 10% best). One processed to bring out detail and the other for colour, combined in Photoshop.

I'm not sure how far I can push this technique, but I'll keep at it for the moment

It sounds more awkward than it is. With the all too brief gaps in clouds we seem to be getting in the UK at the moment I can get this set up much quicker than getting a webcam going with laptop, cables etc. Works much better on the Moon though
