the reason I'm looking for another program is that I already use PHD with another ATiK16 as a dedicated guider.....but I'd also like to use the 2nd ATiK16 as an electronic finder and PHD will only handle one version being open at any time....

The GuidemasterV2 had a new plug in for the ATiK...I'll give it a go over the weekend.

Well there is an ascom driver for the atik 16ic I think so anything that supports ascom should do it.

How about Artemis capture? This also does guiding.

Hmmmm Haven't come across an Ascom driver yet, but I didn't try the Artemis capture. (I thought Artemis was only an imaging package) I'll have a look at that......

Nah, it's still installed with the download. Not tried Dawn yet but it looks different so I might as well have a go with it.

Artemis Capture didn't appear when I downloaded the latest drivers.....

I think it's in the core software download at the top of the page now Merlin not the drivers part;

You're correct- it's there.

I tried the Guidemaster with the ATiK plug-in but it doesn't seen to differentiate between the two ATiK cameras....

May be better luck with Capture....

Good news!! - at least for me...

Artemis capture can see each of the ATik cameras and give me a "live" display - just what I need for the electronic finder.

A great outcome...thanks for all the help.
