Focal reducer questions.

Recommended Posts

Focal reducers do the opposite of barlows?

A 0.5 focal reducer would make my toucam look like the view through a 12mm lens?

Can a £25.00 Ebay "buy it now" 0.5 focal reducer possibly be any good?

Is £13.00 for postage taking the mickey, or is £38.00 all in still a good price?

Why am I still up at this ungodly hour?

P.S. the last one wasn't strictly a focal reducer question. Opinions still welcome. :)

I can't possibly comment on the last question..... :)

But those focal reducers are pretty good for the money (~£25), but the extra postage is a con, you can get one from the UK and just pay a couple of quid.

The difference in price between that reducer and the expensive ones is that it can really only be used for imaging, the dear ones can be used for visual use too.

(about half way down, is the same reducer)
