First look at the Moon!

Had my first ever look at the moon tonight through my scope! It was awesome! Seeing it actually as a sphere rather than just the disk that ive always seen with the naked eye was breathtaking. Im now decidedly a fan of the Moon. Although, can anyone recommend a good Moon filter? Even with mine in there was still a lot of glare...

I use a variable polarizing filter. It allows you to set what level of light is comfortable. Gets rave reviews at public star parties. 8)

Definitely, and I also find orange and green filters bring out detail on the full moon in different ways, and incidentally cut down the light. A neutral density filter (grey) works well, but is less versatile.
