Crescent with SW Quattro

Still havent been able to get a full clear night to try the scope but managed a few subs on NGC6888 last week. Very short on the OIII only 4*400S but pleased to get a reasonable image after a lot of effort on the processing. Turned out quite similar to an earlier version of mine using a refractor.

That is a very fine image, lovely colours, you have caught the outer shell really well. I must say this object is one of my favourites.

Had to hold back the Ha to get the shell to show. Hoping for much more OIII time on this. Also one of my faves.

That OIII envelope is rarely seen, so very nice to have it so clear, and with short subs too.

Oh btw, I accidentally nudged my Quattro's secondary the other night, I recommend not doing that, the extra large mirror makes it very tricky to reset the rotation accurately :s
