This pic was on APOD: NGC 474 while on my pic there is no sign of the dust, probably due to low ammount of frames PHD just stopped Dec guiding when reaching meridian.

And first images from my exotic/standard multi-narrowband "project". M42/43 to start with

CLS-CCD, 40 x 30 sec; strong and soft processing:

"Neutral" oxygen - [O I] 630 nm; 20 x 300 sec:

Except maybe of M43 there isn't much of "uniqnes" of this band + reflection nebulosity in the trapezium region. When I get Ha/O3/S2/He1 bands then some better comparisons will be possible.
