10" F3.1!! Superscopes reflector on Vixen GP

Superscopes were made by Phil Stone and were manufactured to a high standard. Phil always used good mirrors, there is a chance that the seller has the f/l wrong and that it is a 10" F4.3 David Hinds set of mirrors. If so, it would be a bargain. :)

Yes, challenging to collimate and the secondary looks surprisingly small :)

I think it is larger than it seems at first glance. There is a bright metallic circle showing, but with a much wider black circle beyond it, which is considerably larger. The larger circle is the back of the secondary mirror and its holder.

Not only that but, if it's f4.3 not f3.1, there are eyepieces that will work with it!

It will look just fine in the dark if it's got good optics as Peter suggests :)

The Vixen Super Polaris Mounts are excellent too - much better engineering than an EQ5.

True, just struggle to persude the mrs to have it around the house. I suspect it says more about the wife that the look of the scope !!
