TheThing
Finally getting somewhere with Jupiter! Not as good as some here, but certainly better than my previous efforts, so I'm very pleased. Taken last night. The dew laiden air was creating a lovely orange glow from London and Jupiter was 'bouncing' all over the place.Taken with a SW200p and a SPC900; 5 seperate AVis of approx 1200 frames at 10fps. Stacked in Registax individually and then the 5 stacks stacked into the above.
Pete Presland
not bad at all Hugh especially considering the seeing conditions.i gave up myself after a short session.you said you stacked 5 separate AVis of approx 1200 frames at 10fps Stacked in Registax individually and then the 5 stacks stacked into the above, surely there would be rotation issues by doing the final stacks
TheThing
Didn't think about rotation! Just bunged them all into Registax and the above came out.I'll post the individual images later, for comparison.TheThingSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pete Presland
enjoying is definitely the most important part.dont think there is to much evidence of rotation, but on a better nights seeing i would not go over 3 mins total image run
