an area where events of an astronomical nature could be posted (like a bulleten board) that are happening in the local area

first one i think

Usk astronomical society : 3rd november , the caldicot castell "observing evening"

i went to this last year, its a great night, they have a massive inflatable planetarium set up to show the night sky "virtually"

also a small number of telescopes for observing outside in the grounds in the very good almost LP free darkness (providing weather is good)

there is also a number of different powerpoints set up showing images ect that the socitiy has done

it is mainly a outreach event designed for people to get into astronomy and to join the society
