hi there mike and welcome to sgl have you tried take in wide field shots on a tripod with the camera you have ? what camera do you have ?

Not really done a lot of photography recently, certainly none of the heavens above lol! I have an EOS 30D - so not too new! This clip on it's own is a total inspiration:

Hi Mike and welcome to the lounge! Here's another shout for Prof Cox. His programmes might have been dumbed down a bit but to present entropy etc.. to the masses is fantastic and he deserves every credit for it!
