Best wedge

Hi,

Can anyone help me make a decision? I have a Astro-engineering megawedge pro and have just purchased a scope with a milburn wedge. Which of these is the better wedge? The astro-engineering one looks more the business, but i don't want to get rid of the wrong one.

It will depend on which version You have of the Milburn, is it the standard or deluxe model. Have a look here < http://www.milburnwedge.com/index.html >

If it is the deluxe I would say keep that one as the standard and the megawedge pro are about the same. We have the societies 14" inch mounted on the megawedge pro and the only movement is the tuning fork vibration on the forks. I had the standard Meade wedge for my LX90 and replaced it with a Milburn because it wasn't stiff enough so I might be a bit biased.

Either one will work great I'm sure.
