lidl again!

Recommended Posts

Bought two pairs of these this morning. They had plenty on display in the Lidl in Maryhill (Glasgow), although the guy in front of me was buying a pair and the £5 compass that they're also selling at the moment. He wasn't one of you lot was he? :D

Cheers, Martin

I got a couple of pairs this morning. God Lidl's depressing, VERY glad I don't go shopping in there!

Depressing? Could be, I suppose. I'm relieved they don't try to make you feel like shopping is part of a lifestyle.

Popped to my local Lidl this morning. No binoculars on display, no advert for them. I asked one of the assistants if they had sold out already, No was the reply, you have to ask for them at the checkout, we keep them in the office to prevent them being nicked. How do they expect to sell the blumming things with that kind of marketing ? Anyhow I got a pair and I have to say I'm well impressed with them for the price.

Granted, but they've taken the 'pile it high, sell 'em cheap' route to a dizzying low.

Thanks for the "Heads up". I have e-mailed my Astro Soc. We will rush out tomorrow and try and snap up a few pairs.

We bought 6 pairs last time - and they were sold on to members (at cost price) within a couple of days.

Reasonable binoculars as well :D

Got myself a pair of these yesterday morning and I think their quite a nice pair of bino's.. definitely more comfortable to use than the pair I already had thanks to the LE eyepiece's.

For £10 you can't go wrong.

Scott
