My first AP effort, Jupiter

Well here it is, 300 frames put through Registax, bit of a tweek using the wavelets. Some very helpful tutorials on youtube are worth a watch. I'm quite pleased, but no doubt I'll look back in years to come and think otherwise.

Hi Pauly,

That looks good to me. As Jupiter gets higher and bigger in the sky over the next few weeks I think more of us will be imaging it for the first time. I am looking forward to giving it a try soon. I just hope the clear weather holds.

hi there nice image of jupiter there looks pretty much like what i got over the last few nights ,it may have been clear but seeing was rubbish through the scope look forward to some more of your pics well done and keep up the good work

Thanks for all the kind words chaps. Having compared my effort with some of the other images around it's clear there is room for improvement.
