New Spiral Bound edition of Turn Left at Orion

Recommended Posts

Does the book still say that you should never clean eyepieces?

- I've been hoping they've seen sense and edited that bit out...

Yeah it stills say that. Sorry the picture isn't very good.

The Cambridge Star Atlas by Wil Tirion (27 Jan 2011)

TLAO is a decent book but after a couple a weeks i soon wanted a better one i have 3 editions of the above book and its a great book

I received my spiral Turn Left at Orion this afternoon and it has been a revelation for me! I've seen Ms 13, 27, 57, 92 and NGC 6826 all in the space of an hour. Have pics of some of these and viewed through the scope and where possible the binoculars too. Would never have tried without the book.

I love it.

But then again, I'm a beginner. :-/

Seems like an age waiting for this to turn up and the good news is it did on the 27th.......bad news was I've been on a 2 day sales conference so didn't get to see it until this evening! :)

I'm going to take it to bed with me now and have a good ol' flick through! Oh dear, that may sound a little odd! :p
