Swift

Hi there :)

Hiya folks,

Read some useful info on these boards so I thought I'd sign up. I'm a full-time musician with a degree in Astrophysics from King's, Cambridge. I was a keen observer as a kid, with dark skies (having grown up on the Shetland Islands) but only an 80mm Newtonian - so my experience was fairly limited by my equipment. Anyway, I splashed out on a 10" Dob earlier this week, so hopefully I'll finally be able to go for all those DSOs that I used to read about in the sky guides! :glasses2:

Looking forward to chatting with you all, cheers, S

Hi and welcome to SGL. A degree in astrophysics, awesome!

Not that I've used it since graduation, but it made for an interesting few years! :glasses2: Thanks for your welcomes.
