WIN7 32 Bit driver for Philips toucam 740K webcam

Hi,

I have been using Philips PCVC 740k webcam with my scopes since long with my WIN XP laptop. But facing problem after recent upgrading to WIN 7. Mine is WIN 7 Ultimate, 32Bit.

Is there any confirmed driver for the cam for Win7? Nothing in Philips support site.

Anybody with similar positive experience of using WIn xp driver to use the cam in Win 7?

Options:

1) Stick to Windows XP in VirtualBox

2) Upgrade camera

3) Become a device driver programmer

4) Email Philips.

Alternatively, reflash the 740K with SPC900 firmware.

Find out the chip that is in it and look for a "generic"/"Reference" driver that is from the chip manufacturer.

Could always email the sensor manufacturer for details.
