Its the 285 chip Olly, same as in Atik 314, SX H9, and one or two others.

The FOV is exactly the same as with the MN190, so I can make some very interesting comparisons, and also share some hard won data from the previous sessions

How long before you get a 2nd mount and cam and have it running alongside the MN190...?

Peter...

Years probably :(

I am hoping they come up with a way of gathering three (or more) types of narrowband data simultaneously somehow.

And there are some unusual narrowband filters that look very interesting that I am investigating at the minute, so they might be the next thing........

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, it is always a relief when a new piece of kit performs as you hoped!

Cheers

Tim

Lots of detail in there, captured subtle variations in the Nebula.

Got my Quattro about sorted ready for some imaging,

Can't blame the kit if my results are poor now :).

Finding learning how to set up these Newt's quite interesting after mainly using refractors. :).

Yes, you definitely earn your images with a newt, and the faster they are, the trickier the setup. There is something very rewarding about getting everything set up right though, and watching the first image roll off the camera with nice round stars. Looking forward to your results!
