What 2" diagonal for the Meade 12" lx90

The scope came with a 1.25" but need a 2", its looks like a screw in bit I many be wrong.

any advice please

You can either get a 2" SCT visual back that will screw onto your OTA and use a regular push fit (refractor type) 2" diagonal or get a 2" SCT diagonal that screws directly onto your OTA.

I prefer the visual back & push fit diagonal combination myself as it is easier to just push the diagonal in place and tighten a thumbscrew rather than having to screw on the diagonal. Also the diag can be used on other scopes.

I use the original Meade UHTC coating 2" SCT diagonal on my 12"Lx...works well.

Wishful thinking for the clear skies:D Hve a great time viewing with a 12 inch, I have the 8 inch version and use a 2 inch diagonal on the back.

I use the Meade Series 5000 Enhanced 2" Mirror diagonal, which is vastly much better than the original supplied with my LX90.

I use the Celestron 2" XLT with my CPC800, it is a cracking piece of kit, but not cheat at £180 though. It comes in a handy padded aluminium case.

I have a LX90 12" LNT, and I bought this adaptable 2" diagonal.
