Apollo photograph search

I have been looking at some Apollo photographs in a book I have and was wondering if anyone knows whether the Apollo 12 astronauts took any photographs of the Surveyor 3 spacecraft that was close to where they landed. I think it would be amazing to walk across the lunar surface and just find another spacecraft just sitting there!

Any info on where to find photos would be greatly appreciated.

They went over to it and removed a camera which they brought back with them. Remarkably the camera contained bacteria that had survived on the Moon.

Hi, an index to all Apollo photographs (by camera) is at

Apollo Image Atlas once into the camera type the index is broken down by mission which then shows a thumbnail click on that to get the full image as a download.
