My wife came home today with a huge (14"x12") book full of great Hubble images and associated info. Over 230 pages.

Cost £10 reduced from £40. She said 'I might like it.'

P.S On a serious note and as one man to another, be careful of this ploy of present buying - I have been caught out by this on sadly too many occasions. Maybe she made more than one purchase?

I have looked at this book in Waterstones and the images were stunning. Its down on my xmas list

I saw this book at the weekend in a garden centre, same price, its just so damn huge it wont fit in anybook case:D

They have a stack of these about 4ft high in the Works bookshop near me...I was given it as a present a while back, beautiful book

I gave my wife more credit than she deserved. Apparently she heard a chap in front of her in the checkout queue say he was was buying these books ( Hubble x4 in total) as prizes for his local Astronomy Society.

Peering over his shoulder saw what he was buying and thought 'I'd better get one for hubby'.

thanks for that, will check them out, I have got a few astro books from there before, also for the local astro society.
