Gina, the problem is that the cheaper compact cameras all have a tiny sensor area.
Yes, I guess that's the problem. I'll investigate... I have an older (big on the outside) Canon point-n-shoot camera which I'm very unlikely to use now I have a DSLR (and high res mobile phone camera). I'll see what size that is.
