being new I am ready to admit this may have been asked before but here goes......

...... is star walk on the iPhone / iPad and good for using as a tool to help find the stars when trying to learn out in the field?

i use starwalk on my iphone all the time iv used go star watch, star walk, and sky safari

out of the 3 i go to starwatch every time (mainly because sky safari seems to freeze on my iphone 4... on the beta ios5 (which probally has summet to do with it)

the skysafari u can get an adapter cable that will control the goto telescope (further removing the hand controler/ eqmod laptop)

it is also very useful as it shows on start up the rise and fall of all main planets + sun and wot dates the moon phase is in for planning the night and has a tonights best tour as well
