eyepiece case

hi peeps got myself a aliminium tool case which is brand new, just need some kind of foam which i can add to it and cut around eyepieces etc to give them support for transport any ideas thanks peeps:)

i think maplins do some,the sort that is already precut slightly into squares (pluck foam) you just pick out the squares you dont need.its not cheap to buy though

Best to use photographic quality foam rather than the cheapo stuff which often contains volatile plasticizers which can end up all over your expensive EPs......

hi peeps need some foam to set my ep,s in been advised to use photo/camera equipment foam and maplins foam but its exspensive any other ideas were i can get some from. thanks guys and gals

Try this site - I've never used them but they've been recomended several times on SGL

You can get a brand new Maplins flight case complete with pick 'n' pluck foam for that amount lol

used to be "SpeedGraphic" I think - I don't know about current suppliers.
