NGC6992 16/8/11

[Glider]

Last night I got 2hrs of 10min subs in OIII to go with 3hrs of 10min subs in Ha that I got last week.

ED80/Atik 16IC mono with Astronomik filters. SPC900/finderguider/PHD guiding on HEQ5 Synscan Pro.

Obviously it's only a small bit of a large DSO!

Each night was stacked in DSS with flats, but no darks or bias were used.

First image is Ha red and OIII blue/green in CS3.

Second image is Ha red, synthetic green, OIII blue.

I like them a lot Glider. It's interesting to see what you are able to do with your Atik 16IC which, is the camera I have. I've yet to have a serious go with my 16IC .... just not enough usable time.
