Hi

this was a 4 second exposure and at the time the image was taken the aurora was moving fast,it was coming in from the west to the east.

I could see it sweeping fast in waves and i could see it moving overhead in short pulses,like electric currents.

I took about 400 shots and i have it in a timelapse sequence.

At first the aurora was quite dim so i had my camera set at 4 second exposures with a 16 second intervals but then the aurora moved in fast and the speed of it took me by surprise,i reset the camera to 6 second intervals but i missed the best of it.

Cool! How long is the exposure for the light show? Does it move really fast, so a long exposure gives a silky smooth look but a short exposure makes it looks turbulent? (like water)
