Think I'm getting the hang of this

I think this is a slight improvment on last weeks image I posted , critisism and/or advice welcomed. I don't seem to be able to get them sharper with registax, but I am sure thats cos I don't know what I'm doing.

Getting better Trudie. Looks like you could use a barlow lens to get it a bit bigger on the chip. Focus is spot on though, you've got the Cassini division sorted.

Have you tried the resample option when optimising in Registax? It lets you scale up each frame and the averaging effect of the stacking gets rid of the jaggies that you would normally see.

As CC said, there is good detail there, just needs some tweaking.

Had a quick play with your image

Increased it's size to 150% and done a few tweaks to the brightness

Not a lot Trudie because it's a good image to start with.

Resized to 150%

Then turned up the brightness and contrast a bit.

Have another go with the origonal Trudie, it's an image worthy of some more TLC

Tried half a dozen times last night, don't seem to be able to improve it much, have put another post in as I'm sure it could look better if attacked by someone who knows what they are doing has a go.
