Clear night in wiltshire for 2 hours and saw the moon

Well............. had some clear skies for 2 hours over chippenham tonight so i got me scope out and looked at the moon with my new EP's and wow it was great!

Only probs is im still having trouble finding messier objects! Getting frustrating now lol!!!!

Congrats on getting out.

Don't get too upset about tracking down objects. It does take a bit of time to 'train the brain' about the sky.

Which 'M' number are you looking for?

Sound advice.

Relax, take your time and enjoy! My advice is get some half decent binoculars to find your way around. I still use my Dad's 8x40 bino's and have done for 30yrs+ (i've only just got my first scope so am on a steep learning curve too)!!
