Saturn 4th November 4:45am

Last night was nice and clear, but I had a stonking headache and was pretty tired. So, instead, I got up at 4:15 this morning, checked outside and it was still clear!!

So out I went. Managed a quick peek at Mars, but couldn't get to image it, so I turned my attention to The Ringed One.

And chuffed I was too

This is my first Saturn image, and first time I have played with Registax (have not got a clue what the wavelets do - copied the settings from the Net!)

245 Frames stacked in Registax3

Toucam Pro SC1

2x Achro Barlow

No additional processing, apart from 90 degree rotation

My new Orion Shorty Barlow plonked on my desk during lunch (a HUGE amount of Chinese food, I'm sad to say) so if tonight is clear, shall be taking the boy wonder up to Dunstable Downs.

It was GREAT to get again, even if only for a couple of hours!!
