Greg
I have an EQ 3 mount, the Dec drive is fine but the RA drive has some play in it - not a lot just enough to a bit lazy with the motor.I have read somewhere that it it possible to strip the drive and re-pack the gears with quality grease and improve things.A) Has anyone done this? How hard a job is it?C) What grease do you use?D) Sould I give it to someone who knows what they're doing!!!ThanksGreg

GazOC
Its a shame they don't make the Ra and DEC motors so they are interchangeable, so if a RA drives goes you can just put the Dec motor on as a quick fix.
