I came back from Kielder yesterday afternoon. The weather was just too bad, the wind and rain were just making it impossible to stay. Dont know if anybody else left early as I think they were all still at the Castle when we packed up.

Once again it was dark when I arrived (pitching tents in darkness is not a fun experience) so I never got to put any names to faces. I believe everybody was in the Anglers Arms but we had an 11year old with us so had to stay in the lounge, the Wylan Rocket ale was however very good :D

Well along with all the rain and high winds we had this too.....

This was what we woke up to the first morning due to the hight winds...

But i wouldn't have missed it for the world.....

Even though Moonplodger (Kev) scooped me at pool (Scotland V's England = usual result) :insects1:

Hi Tom,

Things got good around 10.00 for about an hour. Ok for me as I'm not at work. Poor for everyone else. You did the right thing.

Hi Kong,

No meter readings, but someone said around mag 6. Not that it means much to me.
